Social Media Overload

I'm a gadget junkie. I have no idea how these things work; I'm a user, not a designer. Hand-in-hand with gadgets comes social media... which I also enjoy. I jumped on Twitter very early on, though I didn't latch onto FaceBook for quite awhile.

Now we have Google+. I received an invite this week & decided to jump in. The result? I feel like I'm in social media overload. Between Twitter, FaceBook, DailyMile, 2 blogs & 1 Podcast, I think I've finally reached the breaking point. I can't take any more social media.

Will I commit to Google+? Not sure right now; it feels exactly like FaceBook, but just on Google. The community is so small, I don't see a lot of my normal contacts on it. I'm trying to create a Running "circle," but there simply aren't many people I know using it just yet.
