Pinspiration & Awesomesauce

This week, this is me. I managed to get back on my 0430 wake up, doing the t-mill before work, & stuck to my meal plan very well. As far as fitness goes, I've done well this week. It hasn't been easy; I've felt like I'm slogging thru for some of the days. But at the end of the day, I've felt great knowing the most mentally-challenging part of my day was done before the day really even started. This week, I logged 12 miles (the most I've done since my marathon DNF), did 5 workouts, burned 1656 calories, & spent 3 hours engaged in some sort of physical activity. It was a week made of awesomesauce.

I have to say, I'm incredibly proud of myself for this past week. I'm a goal-driven person; I'm the kind of gal who enjoys crossing items off a "To Do" list. I strongly believe that as adults, continuing to develop & achieve goals are incredibly important to mental well being... so as not to feel that there's no point to life. So setting the goal to get back on track this week was something I felt I had to do. As the pic says, I knew I could do it... but would I do it? Knowing I didn't fail myself makes me feel good... there's no other way to put it.

And since it's Sunday, I get to relax! Well... really I'm spending the day cleaning. But it's still a bit of time off.

Hope you're all enjoying your Sunday!

  1. Hey Bonnie...congratulations on an active week and getting up in the 4 O'Clock hour. I know personally how "not easy" that is.

By the way, I was tagged by Darlene at My First 5K and More... with The Versatile Blogger Award, so after posting mine I'm in turn tagging you !

The rules are to share 7 things about yourself. Then to tag 15 people. Have fun !

    1. I have to tell you... I'm not sure I even know 15 people online to tag! But I'll work on the 7 things. I promise.
