What runners love! Finally broke down & bought some New Balance motion control sneakers. They feel comfy. I used the RoadRunner Sports "shoe dog" running shoe finder to figure out which running shoes would be best for me. I've developed Morton's Neuroma, so I have to be very careful about the type of shoes I run in. It's especially depressing for me because I'm a huge Vibram FiveFingers fan. I started with VFF when I started my C25k program & never looked back... until now. So I used the RoadRunner Sports "shoe dog" to find the right type of shoe for me. It was a bit embarrassing; I never even considered my weight in determining the kind of shoe I should wear. Luckily, I was able to find these sneakers at my local PX (store on the Army base where we live), so I saved a few ducats on this pair.
Also picked up this black Nike jacket at the same time. I've got no cold weather running gear, so I'm trying to build up my winter running wardrobe. First attempt with these items will be this week as I ease back into running after my November injury. I'm hoping it all works out... the Edinburgh Marathon won't run itself!
